Sharjah Arts Museum Sharjah Museums Authority - SMA (formerly Sharjah Museums Department - SMD) was founded in 2006 as an independent government department by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
