Sharjah Arts Museum
- Sharjah Museums Authority – SMA (formerly Sharjah Museums Department – SMD) was founded in 2006 as an independent government department by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
- The structure is divided into two wings that are linked by two passageways that cross an interior street. Sixty-eight halls of varying sizes span an area of approximately 11,000 square meters.
- Sharjah Museums Authority includes the Sharjah Art Museum. It is a frequent exhibition venue for the Sharjah Biennial, which is produced by the Sharjah Art Foundation.
