About Aquarium
The aquarium in Sharjah is a wonderland. The Sharjah Museums Authority manages the aquarium, which is one of the biggest educational facilities in the UAE. This Sharjah attraction is spread out across 6,500 square meters and has 20 separate aquariums on two floors with a variety of marine life.

Attractions in Sharjah Museums
- The aquarium serves more purposes than just entertainment. Its purpose was to raise public awareness of the importance of aquatic life. The Sharjah Museums Authority decided in 2009 to enlarge the aquarium space by establishing a marine nature reserve.
- Al Khan Monument, Al Khan Historical District, Al Khan Lagoon, and Sharjah Expo Centre are a few of these. A few other adjacent attractions exist in addition to these.
- The 20 tanks in the Aquarium recreate a variety of regional aquatic environments, from coral reefs and rock ponds to lagoons and mangrove forests.
