We have some excellent news if you’re wondering where to watch the UEFA European Championship (Euros), the second-most-watched football competition in the world, this summer in Dubai. UEFA Euro 2024 will have a sizable indoor fan zone in Dubai.
Since the European Championship is taking place in the hottest part of summer in Dubai this year, the fan zone will be relocated inside Media City’s air-conditioned The Agenda. Expect a stadium-like atmosphere at the arena, which can accommodate up to 5,000 football fans.
In 2022, when Argentina led by Lionel Messi won the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, McGettigan’s sponsored a fanzone in Dubai. The Irish pub has expanded and improved due to the success of its previous fan zone, which included a huge 200 square metre 4K LED screen, bars, a VIP deck, VIP couches and VVIP boxes.
In addition to regular admission, there will be VIP sky boxes on the second story, which can hold up to 10 people for the best viewing experience, and special VIP lounges on the first floor.
Although the exact cost of the tickets has not yet been determined, they began at Dhs50 per person for the Fanzone by McGettigan’s World Cup fan zone, and they were fully redeemable on the food and drink within the arena.
All 51 matches will be screened, along with additional entertainment including live music, player interviews, and former players scheduled to join in Dubai’s celebration of the beautiful game.
On Friday, June 14, the tournament’s hosts, Germany, will play Steve Clarke’s Scotland team in Munich.
On Saturday, June 15, Italy will play Albania in the first round of their crown defence. England will play Serbia the following day, while the tournament favourites, France, will play Austria in the first match.
