Getting to the Start

It is recommended to all participants that they avoid attempting to park on Jumeirah Beach Road, in the Al Sufouh neighbourhood, Madinat Jumeirah, or near the Police Academy. There will be widespread road closures in these regions. You will incur significant traffic congestion and delays in reaching the start if you drive to the nearby areas of the start and finish points mentioned above.

Arrange your route if you are driving. Stay away from parking close to the start and finish lines. Many easily accessible parking spaces are located apart from the start and finish lines at the Al Wasl Road intersections. You may access the Mall of the Emirates/Al Barsha area for parking by crossing the Dubai Metro Bridge, which will lead you to the back of the starting point for the walk past the Dubai Police Academy.

Give yourself plenty of time to walk the entire distance from the Mall of the Emirates/Al Barsha area and the Al Wasl Road direction to the back of the start location. Choose a familiar area.

On Al Wasl Road, there will be a taxi drop-off location before the event and a pickup location following it. Plan to arrive 90 minutes before the start time and, if possible, reserve your taxi in advance to prevent delays. Throughout the morning and afternoon, there will be additional taxis available. To prevent traffic jams and delays, please arrive early.

Marathon (42.195km) Time Limit

The finish line has a 6-hour time limit, and the roads open in phases according to that time.
